About Me

Originally from Toronto, Ontario, I’ve proudly called Windsor my home since 2018. My move was driven by an opportunity to join the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business as a faculty member. Here, I explore and teach about organizational behavior and high-performance teams, blending my passion for leadership, teamwork, and mental health with a commitment to lifelong learning and improvement. I’ve won numerous awards for my teaching and research, which have been featured in top news outlets and management journals.

Journey to Academia

My path wasn't a straight shot to academia. Upon graduating from the Ivey School of Business (HBA), I began my career in Sales and Trade Marketing at General Mills Canada. That experience reignited my interest in leadership and the dynamics of effective teams, prompting me to delve deeper. This led me to pursue an MSc in Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management at Wilfrid Laurier University, followed by a PhD in Organizational Behaviour from Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business in 2018. I bring this blend of real-world experience and academic rigor to my students and clients, bridging the chasm between theory and practice.

Off the Clock

When I'm not engaged in my work, you're likely to find me orchestrating adventures with my young family. As a sports enthusiast, my leisure time is otherwise spent watching and playing hockey, baseball, golf, and football, or coaching my kids teams. I’m also an avid runner, proudly completing the Detroit half-marathon last year, and a passionate chef, most recently honing my culinary skills at the smoker.

Why I Do It

For me, it's all about achieving our full potential—helping individuals and teams realize what they're capable of. I engage with a mix of empathy and a call to challenge the status quo, in both my professional and personal life.
My mission: empower growth. I love to push boundaries and ask tough questions. I lead by challenging conventions with thoughtful perspectives.
